National Union of Journalists of the Phil (NUJP) Prayer Rally
To all:
We are urging all our members to support NUJP-Iloilo on their invitation to condemn the election related violence that happemed in Mindanao. The text of the invitation states:
"The National Union of Journalists of the Phil (NUJP) - Iloilo invites all journalists and fellow Ilonggos to a nationwide indignation and prayer rally to condemn the Maguindanao massacre and to honor the victims, on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at the grounds of the Jaro Cathedral. Pls bring candles and pls pass."
The prayer rally will be at 4 PM.
I am asking for your active involvement in asking for the immediate and decisive government action on this. Two of our women colleagues were brutally killed in the incident. Unless government is prodded to act immediately on this, we may see more and more people, friends, and colleagues perish in the 2010 elections.

Family Day
IBP will have a family day on Nov. 14 1-5 PM at Metropolis Clubhouse. Sportsfest and larong pinoy until awarding of intercolor tournament, dinner, dancing, and sing-a-long.
